- March 7th (三月七): a cheerful girl who woke from ice with no past, armed with a camera that freezes enemies. Anchor of the crew's heart.
- Dan Heng (丹恒): the Express's guarded archivist and a reformed reincarnation of the doomed Imbibitor Lunae (饮月君) of the Xianzhou.
- Himeko (姬子): the mature navigator who found and restored the Express; a scientist who chases the rails out of wonder, not duty.
- Welt Yang (瓦尔特): the elder statesman, formerly Earth's hero (a nod to Honkai Impact 3rd), carrying gravity powers and hard-won restraint.
- Kafka (卡芙卡): Stellaron Hunter, the one who seeded the Trailblazer's Stellaron. Elegant, maternal, and terrifyingly competent.
- Nanook (纳努克): the Aeon of Destruction, the silent engine of the game's central threat.
- Akivili (阿基维利): the lost Aeon of the Trailblaze, who laid the Star Rails and then vanished. The Express rides their ghost.
