Planet Aida is a post-Cataclysm world where one tower's explosion redefined reality. Omnium energy — the power source humanity built its civilization on — warped flesh into aberrants, cracked space into separate dimensional pockets, and left whole regions poisoned by "grayspace," a corrupted dimension leaking into the map. What survives of mankind lives inside shelter-cities and walled enclaves connected by fragile supply lines.
The land is split into great regions: Asperia, the green starting continent dotted with shelters and six energy towers; Vera, a scorched desert continent crowned by the fortress city Mirroria, hiding sunken Innars beneath the Grand Sea; Domain 9, a trapped dimension where humanity fights a ten-year siege against Darkness; the Gestos Network, a virtual reconstruction of Old Aesperia run by AI; and Kailo, District 4's cosmic frontier, home to a drifting fleet that has searched fifty years for a world to call home. Technology sits everywhere beside ruins: hoverboards glide past broken highways, and giants of steel called Omnium Towers hum with power nobody fully controls.
