Memory as identity. The Wanderer's amnesia is the lens for everything: Zeke returns as Ming Jing with his memories erased; Shirli survives as Nemesis carrying only dream-traces of herself; Domain 9's timestamp tech buys time at the price of recollection. In Aida, to lose memory is to lose the self, and every faction is, one way or another, in the business of editing what people remember.

Energy and its debts. Omnium powers civilization and poisons it in the same breath — towers hold up shelters while spawning aberrants and grayspace. The Heirs want the towers gone; Hykros wants them humming; the truth is that Aida's survival has been mortgaged to both.

The siege ordinary people live. From Astra Shelter's ration lines to Domain 9's decade-long Darkness siege to the Hope Fleet's fifty-year drift: lore keeps its focus on communities adapting, not just heroes striking poses. The Hive Mother's swarm and the zerg tides of Noah Star are horror because they reduce people to logistics.

Virtual and real. The Gestos Network arc asks what makes a world legitimate: Old Aesperia rebuilt in simulation feels more intact than the ruins outside it, yet file O49 proves someone treats virtual lives as raw material. Aurora Industries' corporate empire, Asurada versus Team X — the digital layer inherits every sin of the physical one.

Home as a moving target. Vera's exiles dream of return, Kailo's fleet drifts seeking a harbor, Gestos refugees rebuild inside a machine. Across all five arcs, "home" is never a place you defend — it is a promise you keep rebuilding somewhere else.
