- Fractsidus (裂隙会, *Lièxì Huì* — Chinese name unofficial) — the main antagonistic secret order; aims to *accelerate* the next Lament, the so-called "True Lament" (真悲鸣), by resurrecting the Threnodians** (潮兽/悲鸣兽, *Bēimíng Shòu*). They view the Lament not as doom but as humanity's necessary evolution.
- Sentinels (哨兵, *Shàobīng) — godlike guardians of each nation, created by the ancient Homeland Civilization (故土文明) and delivered by Exostriders; each bonds to one Resonator at a time.
- Threnodians — eldritch entities opposed to the Sentinels; only defeatable by shackling one to a Resonator (uncertainty flagged: mechanics still being revealed in-story).
